About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Hindupat Institute of Teacher Training has been established as a central mechanism for the continuous monitoring, enhancement, and sustenance of academic and administrative quality. The IQAC functions as a catalyst for institutional excellence by promoting a culture of quality consciousness, systematic planning, and participatory decision-making.

The Cell plays a proactive role in ensuring that quality benchmarks are maintained across teaching–learning processes, research initiatives, governance practices, and student support systems in alignment with national accreditation frameworks and regulatory bodies.


Vision of IQAC

  • To institutionalize a culture of continuous quality enhancement through reflective practices, evidence-based planning, and inclusive participation, thereby ensuring academic excellence, professional integrity, and holistic development in teacher education.

Objectives of IQAC

  • To create a structured system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in institutional performance.
  • To enhance the quality of teaching–learning through academic planning, curriculum enrichment, and pedagogical innovation.
  • To promote research culture, professional development, and reflective practices among faculty and students.
  • To strengthen student support services and ensure inclusive educational practices.
  • To facilitate internal audits, documentation, and quality-related data management for accreditation purposes.

Functions of IQAC

  • Development and application of quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
  • Organization of seminars, workshops, orientation Programmes, and faculty development initiatives.
  • Collection and analysis of feedback from students, alumni, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Documentation of institutional activities, best practices, and quality initiatives.
  • Preparation and submission of quality assurance reports and compliance-related documents.
